If we seek to tackle world scale problems, we do so in part by helping business provide better goods and services to society, as well as jobs with meaning.
Since its inception in 2001, the Centre has significantly contributed to transforming the University’s culture and attitude with regard to commercialisation of research and has also become an integral part of Saïd Business School’s entrepreneurship teaching activities, contributing to the Entrepreneurial Project and running major extracurricular activities such as the SBS Venture Fund, the SBS Seed Fund and the Silicon Valley Comes to Oxford conference.

Oxford University Innovation supports innovation activities across all University Divisions, managing technology transfer and consulting activities, and providing an innovation management service to clients around the world.

Oxford University Innovation is the highest university patent filer in the UK and is ranked 1st in the UK for university spin-outs, having created over 140 new companies in 25 years.
